Hey, kids! Tomorrow's the big day, and I'm preparing by doing a little bit of ill-advised shopping. Looking down the barrel of 60k in dept this year alone, and I'm browsing Urban Outfitters. Real smart, Kelsey. Well, that's why God made credit cards.
Anyway, I'm feeling a little nervous, although not too nervous. Actually, I'm mostly worried about parking tomorrow at orientation, which I suppose is a good sign. For the most part, I'm just excited to finally, finally be starting! Really guys, years and years of planning, crying, working my fanny off, and selling my soul (just a little bit), and I'm finally here! As all of my fellow first years out there can attest, it has been a long road, and I know it's only going to get harder, but I think that we're finally to the fun part.
That said, I do sort of wish that I was doing this: (via margaret durow)
But c'est la vie. I've spent most of the summer doing a whole lot of very relaxing nothing, and it's time to get back to work. Ta ta!
